The ATARs are here, and 12 months’ worth of hard work and dedication has been scored, standardised and spat out as a little number under 100. It’s a bit of an anti-climax really – a more fitting reward for all your hard work would be a solid accent, life sized statue of yourself. Or perhaps a tour of the Greek Islands.
After the great ATAR anti-climax, we wanted to remind you that we, at Open Universities Australia (OUA), are here for you – and if you didn’t get the ATAR score you were hoping for, you don’t need to worry.
At OUA, we believe that everyone has the right to high-quality education, and a bright future – that’s why through us, you don’t need an ATAR to start studying.
As unbelievable as it may sound, you’ll see, there’s more than one way to a university degree.
Get started as soon as you’re ready
Start a single subject online with a leading Australian university through OUA, which have no entry requirements. Simply choose your subject, and enrol. You can use these subjects as a pathway into a full degree program and they could also be credited towards your degree.
Choose from leading Australian unis
When you study online, you’re not limited to universities in your local area. OUA allows you to study degrees and single subjects, from leading universities all over Australia. You can study exactly what, when, and where you want.
Take a gap year while studying
Want to travel or work before you commit to on-campus study? Start studying online from anywhere in the world, and get credit when you return home and study on-campus.
Take advantage of government funding
Just like on-campus students, you’ll have access to government funding and study loans, even for single subjects (subject to eligibility criteria). So there’s no need to pay upfront.
Whatever path you choose, you can be sure that through OUA, you’ll have plenty of choice, reliable study support, a passionate student community, and at the finish line – the same degree as an on-campus student.
If you’re not sure what to choose, or how to go about it – don’t worry – we’re here to help.
