Physics

Physics is, quite simply, not the type of subject you can just wing when exam time comes. Doing well requires preparation and diligence throughout the year - and there's no time like the present to start that! To give you a place to start, we've created these free QCE Physics videos. You can use them to get a head start on your peers, or as revision when you've completed a topic. Good times! Keen for more free QCE Physics resources? Make sure you make your free ATAR Notes account to keep up-to-date!

The videos

There are ten videos so, logically, there are ten areas we look at. Can you watch these videos and expect to know the whole course inside-out? Of course not - but it's a great start.
  • Video 1: Series and Parallel Circuits
  • Video 2: Radioactive Decay
  • Video 3: Radioactive Decay Problems
  • Video 4: State Change
  • Video 5: Ohmic and Non-Ohmic Resistance
  • Video 6: Newton's Three Laws
  • Video 7: Force Diagram - Object on a Slope
  • Video 8: Conservation of Energy
  • Video 9: Characteristics of Waves
  • Video 10: Refraction of Light (Snell's Law)

The presenter

You have the Dream Team for this series! The first five videos are presented by Michael (98.75 ATAR), who went on to study Science and Arts. He then passes the last five videos over to Tim (98.65 ATAR), who is currently studying Science and Education.

Want more?

These QCE Physics videos are a great start, but there's still a heap more free Physics stuff available for you to sink your teeth into!
  • For example, have you considered downloading some free QCE notes? You can filter by year level and subject.
  • You should definitely get around this list of other QCE Physics resources and Q+A. In this thread, you can also ask any Physics questions you have!
  • And, of course, if you're looking for more revision videos, you can find them all here.
