What’s Worthwhile?

Modern History

HSC Modern History has a huge following, and for good reason. It delves into fascinating concepts from years gone by, but it's also difficult to score well by nature of the competitive cohort. Luckily, our Modern History expert, Susie, is happy to help with this series of free HSC Modern History videos.

The videos

Susie has split the syllabus into ten sections:
  • Video 1: What is Nationalism?
  • Video 2: What is a Dictatorship?
  • Video 3: Hitler's "Legal" Dictatorship
  • Video 4: What is Nazism?
  • Video 5: Japan's Ambitions
  • Video 6: The League of Nations
  • Video 7: Source Analysis Cheat Sheet
  • Video 8: Forming a Thesis
  • Video 9: Integrating Historiography
  • Video 10: Study Tips

The presenter

Susie dominated all forms of History in the HSC, with Band 6 equivalent results in Modern History, Ancient History *and* History Extension. Combine that with extensive tutoring and lecturing experience with ATAR Notes, and you've got the perfect recipe for a killer video series!
