As a graduating university student with a lot of pent-up stress and not much job prospects, sometimes I just feel like smashing stuff.

I won’t lie; smashing stuff has been a long-term fantasy of mine. As a child, when I first learned   that you could buy a cheap, broken car from “the wreckers”, my immediate reaction was “when I’m older, I’ll buy one, put it in the back yard, and absolutely destroy the thing”.

Of course, my quasi-psychotic childhood dreams never came to fruition, but it seems like Deakin University is giving me the next best thing.

They are literally going to smash the crap out of stuff and put it on a live stream.

This isn’t a drill, people. It’s called a VCE Stress Break. Between October 19-23, from 5pm – 6.30pm, a guy dressed in a sloth mask and wearing Freddy Krueger claws, otherwise known as “Sloth“, will be breaking all sorts of stuff at the request of stressed VCE students. Sloth leads the crew made up of a giant hotdog,  a ghost, and a psychedelic robot.

Can you imagine anything more thug than a giant hotdog and a sociopathic sloth?

Didn’t think so.

Seriously, make sure you tune in by 5pm to watch the absolute carnage. If you get in beforehand, you can even request to have a specific character smash some specific objects with a specific weapon. This is literally the most glorious adaptation to Cluedo I could ever imagine.
