I received full marks for this essay; the marking criteria are below. I wasn't asked to provide a bibliography however I had researched 20+ websites and books to utilise around 14 historians in my finalised essay. I hope this will benefit future modern history students on their Term 2 task! Good luck everyone :) Assessment criteria: In this task, you will be assessed on how well you: · Display evidence of detailed research · Pursue a line of argument based on the research · Create your own question and answer it through an essay · Demonstrate your understanding through research Process 1. Students are to research a significant person, a specific group, issue or event from the nineteenth to the twentieth century. 2. Create a detailed question that will allow students to undertake comprehensive research, such as “Evaluate” and “Assess”. This question will not be a simple narrative/descriptive style question. 3. Research the topic using a variety of sources. Sources MUST be referred to in the presentation through an in-text method. 4. Write an essay that will be delivered in class through an exam. 5. You Must submit an 800 to 1000-word response to your answer. (800 is the lowest limit and 1000 is the highest). 6. Reference your work in APA style (this will be shown to you in class) and no bibliography is required at the end of the essay.
