Music Composition Inspiration - Composition Statement
This is the compositional statement I wrote for my FA2 Music assignment, for which I received 100%. The task required me to compose an original music piece from scratch in a musical style of my choice. I chose to compose an impressionistic piano piece, inspired by an impressionist painting.
Although I am unable to attach my MuseScore composition file, I have included my supporting compositional statement that accompanies the piece. The statement explains my creative intentions, musical influences, and the compositional techniques I used to reflect the impressionistic style and artistic inspiration.
The total word count of the compositional statement is 399 words.
