From Thursday 3 May – Sunday 6 May, ATAR Notes joined many other exhibitors at the annual VCE and Careers Expo.
We spent four days chatting to students, parents and teachers about the VCE journey, and how students can maximise their marks for the rest of their studies. We saw thousands of students – some familiar, some new – and enjoyed the opportunity to give advice on what we do best: VCE.

On Saturday afternoon, Nick presented a seminar titled “How to Ace VCE: SACs, Scaling, and Study Strategy”. Hundreds attended – the seminar room was beyond capacity, with late-comers having to stand. The seminar covered things like the technical side of VCE (how the ATAR is calculated, the impact of SAC moderation, scaling etc.), and how to improve your marks on a day-to-day level.
Of course, we’re more than happy to answer any follow-up questions from the seminar! Leave a comment on this article or in this thread, or contact us via Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat.
After the seminar, Nick noted that “it was fantastic to see so many students and parents there and engaged; some still had several years until they started VCE, and just wanted to get a head start!”
And we love to see that. So remember that you can download free VCE notes for a whole heap of subjects from our notes section. And, of course, if you missed out on Complete Course Notes or Topic Tests at the Expo, our full range is available here!
We’re looking forward to doing it all again next year. And, until then, helping as many students as possible!
