One of ATAR Notes’ primary aims is to improve accessibility to education across the country. We strongly believe that a student’s socioeconomic status and financial circumstances should not fundamentally change their ability to score highly throughout high school.

The Melbourne Foundation shares both this aim and belief. The Foundation was founded in 2006, and has since strived to assist students across Australia from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. This is why ATAR Notes is proud to partner with The Foundation.

Excitingly, The Melbourne Foundation has recently opened applications to its prestigious scholarship programme.

What’s the scholarship programme?

The Melbourne Foundation offers full scholarships to private schools in Melbourne. The scholarships run for four years: from Year 9 to Year 12.

The first ever Melbourne Foundation Scholar was Khuzair Rehan, who held the scholarship from 2007 until 2010. Khuzair attended Melbourne Grammar School – and graduated with an extremely impressive 99.80 ATAR. He went on to study a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University. So – who’s eligible?
