- Unit 4: Business evolution, Topic 1: Repositioning a business Context - Flight Centre Travel Group Limited (FLT) post-pandemic period challenges. Task: • Create a feasibility report for the directors of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited using features of the report genre. • Describe the business environment and situation relating to the repositioning the business. • Explain the business concepts, strategies and processes relating to influences for repositioning Flight Centre in its current business environment. • Select data and information from the stimulus to analyse the business situation of Flight Centre, using SWOT and STEEPLE analytical tools. • Interpret relationships, patterns and trends from the analysis to draw conclusions about the implications of repositioning Flight Centre. • Evaluate at least two and no more than three repositioning strategies in relation to the criteria of competitiveness and stakeholder satisfaction. • Make justifiable decisions about the suitability of the repositioning strategies and propose recommendations going forward. • Cite sources using in-text referencing in the body and provide a reference list for additional sources used. 1500-2000 words Stimulus provided.
