Sketching every day

Pretty self-explanatory title. I want to sketch more. Mostly products - I wanted to be an industrial designer in like ~2011/12, and it still burns a bit.

The thing is, I haven't done much design stuff recently, and I have literally no technique because I've never worked out how to draw properly.

Anyway, this thread will be for random sketches of stuff. They won't be good. They also probably won't be daily. But they'll exist.

EDIT: This seems like a great idea as I sit at a cafe just before I go back to work, but just watch as it goes months with no love lol.

That looks seriously cool mate! I'm impressed that you're using the Bic pen to draw like that too.

Cheers!

Usually I use a multiliner or something but I've found over the last day or two that they're not really that suitable (at least the ones I have) for really sketchy, quick stuff (like this).

Appreciate the post!

Gee, you go to sleep on January 3, wake up, and all of a sudden, it's February 3. 🤐

Anyway.

Don't even ask haha. 🤷

Wow this reminded me of myself last year.
From around December 2017-early February 2018 I sketched many characters from 'Cuphead', which is a game based on old style cartoon (I wanted to become an animator/artist when I was a kid)
I can share you some of my sketches if I can find them :)

"random sketches of stuff. They won't be good. " I don't think they are random and they sure are good!  :D What are you on about?

Great stuff :)

How are you progressing? Have you drawn anything else recently?

Not sure about every day but I’d also like to draw more often. I used to draw a lot between Years 8-10.
