1/2 legal help!

Hi guys, I am looking for articles relating to criminal/civil law. I have to write a brief summary/report which focuses on:

a) the reasons why the case can be classified as civil or criminal law
b) the main aim of resolving each case
c) the impact of the crime or wrong on the parties involved
d) the sentence or remedy that might be involved

Please help. Thanks :)

I had to do that exact same project in 1/2...

The generic answer to a) is:
it is civil because it is a person/firm/government body other than Regina(the queen)/the DPP [although on a side note, the DPP could sue someone if they wanted] seeking a remedy (usualy $) from another person/firm/government body.
OR
it is criminal becasue Regina(the queen)/the DPP (the state) is seeking a criminal sanction against someone who they believe has acted or failed to act in compliance with a law.

b)
civil: to return the wronged party to their original position
criminal: to punish, rehabilitate, denounce and deter the offender, protect the community and deter others.

c)specific to the case realy.

d) civil: injunction or damages usualy.
criminal: there's heaps. Go with fine/imprisonment if it doesn't say in the article.

Also, only a fool would copy any of those answers word for word. But follow those basic answers for each question and you'll be right.
