Methods Logbook for Specialist??

Hi everyone, just as the title says I'm just wondering how useful it is to use my Methods Logbook for Specialist.

I've already completed Methods, but am doing Specialist this year. My Methods logbook is detailed, and has a lot of stuff in it, but I have about 1/3 of the excercise book left. I dont use my logbook very much in exams, and only a few specific pages were constantly used throughout the year.

Does a lot of the content overlap? Will it be useful to have Methods stuff with me in the spec exam? (especially probabability as a have a lot of that in my Methods logbook)? I'm okay with making a new logbook for Specialist, but dont want too if I'll be pretty much re-writing all of Methods in it again.

Curious to know your thoughts! What did you do if you did both?

Thanks  ;D

There is a bit overlap but not a significant amount. Both subjects cover different areas of mathematics. The biggest overlap would be calculus but most of methods is "assumed" knowledge for spec. Also there is not much probability in spec (however it does include stats). The type of questions you get in both subjects are also quite distinct.

Thanks Sine  ;D

I'm probably going to start a new logbook for Spec so I don't get confused between the subjects, and so I have more space to write in.
