Did you think this exam was harder than the last couple of years?

How did you guys get 1/8 for the question (on the second last page I think?) finding area? I got a different answer although 1/8 was one of the answers I got using a method.

And for the three-mark question finding distance PQ, was there any other method that was less time-consuming than finding the coordinates of Q than using the distance formula? The distance formula felt like it has been used so much in these two exams.

Do you mean for the area of inverse of g and the x=(whatever) line? Or the bounded area between g and its inverse? For the first one I got 1, for the second one I got 1/4

Interesting exam! Definitely some difficult ones!

Edit 1: Fixed a typo in Q18 MCQ. Added marking allocation.
Edit 2: Fixed the solution to Q3f (answer is 1.91 m).

Neither, I think. It was the bounded area between two functions... f(x) and h(x)? h(x) was a straight line I think

ahhh yeah I think I got 1/8 for that one too. The two areas were both 1/16 I'm pretty sure

Oh, darn. I got 3/16 randomly then which is unfortunate. I didn't think that the two area would be equal  ;D

Also, thanks for the solutions!
