(Obviously multiplayer card games are allowed here but I'm just starting by talking about a single player game.)

Has anyone ever beaten the advanced level on spider solitaire?

I remember playing when I was like 7, when the internet was down, and got somewhat close to beating it on the hard mode.  ::)
I used to have this fear of that red cross that shows up on the deck when you have no more shuffles or something.
That sounds a lot like standard solitaire (Klondike) :P

I'm going to slightly deviate from the computer card-games for the mo, and talk about the funniest card-game experience I've had recently. :P

So, a few weeks ago, it was games night at uni, and my group of friends and I chose to play Uno. This was all fine and dandy, until I played a +4 wildcard. Then everyone stacked on +4s and +2s until it got back to me... I didn't have any of those cards left.
I ended up playing myself, having to pick up 20 cards. Fun times :')

---

On that note, I remember playing Uno on the computer. That was fun too. :P

I haven't actually played the true CAH- although that's ontop of my bucket list!
I've played a variation of it- Quiplash and that was pretty fun (we got to make our own responses etc hahah). (Again, that got played the same night as I played myself at Uno lol)

That's basically me, causing it, cause I go over the top.

(I do have a dark sense of humour that I hide most of the time, though someone here can attest to that :P)

Brenden, Jake, Steph, Naomi and I (as well as a friend from UTS) played this in Brenden's hotel room on the last night of the last set of HSC lectures last year. Was a wild time ;D

CAH is hilarious. Especially if played in a large group. Anyone also play the card game 'SPOON'? The one where you have to try to get 4 of the same card and then pick up the spoon or pen in the centre of the circle?

I've played that. Often several people get so caught up in trying to get the cards that they don't realise the spoons are disappearing (I admit I may or may not be one of those people sometimes). I've never played CAH but I'd like to sometime, sounds fun :)

If anyone has CAH, I implore you to read the quote on the bottom of the back of the box right now.

It went something like: 'gaaaAAARRGGHHHH' -- Steve Irwin
