Lol I think Pakistan have really lived up to their unpredictable status. First game they get trampled by India by 120 odd runs and then they're in the semis bowling England out for 211.

I feel like South Africa's dressing room environment during ICC tournaments isn't the best. This is really evident on the field when their lackluster performances force me to think that they just don't have the energy and motivation to win.

I am expecting an Indian outfit to beat the Tigers tonight but I feel like the Bangladeshi's will come out fighting as hard as anyone. They continue to impress me with the fact that they have improved in leaps and bounds over the last few years.

Tbh I didn't think there would be a cricket thread on ATAR Notes and when I found this, it genuinely made me happy!  ;D

Yes I do Joseph,
I played hatch last season for Plenty Valley and will be playing for their senior sub-district side this upcoming season.

We... sound similar hahaha.

I also played Hatch, and also played subbies (although I think I played seniors before Hatch somehow hahaha)! What type of player are you? :)

P.S. Let's have a net! ;D

Wow seniors before Hatch. I am a batting all rounder. I was once a bowling all rounder and then I came to my senses lol. Hbu?

Yeh let's get down to the nets one day. Would be lit!

Just asking, whereabouts are you from? Around the northern suburbs or southern...? (sounds creepy??? I agree...) I myself am from the northern region.  ;D

Nice! What do you bowl? What's your preferred batting position?

I was a batsman/keeper. Had a lot of injuries, so had to give it up. :-\ Played my last year or so as a pure batsman. Preferred opening. I've played three games in the last ~five years lol. :(

I'm not from the northern suburbs, but I'm sure we can tee something up haha.

Injuries are the worst. Had a back issue this season but luckily only missed out on 2 games. I usually bat at 3 in U16s and in seniors I open. I open the bowling in both teams. I bowl pace although I am not the quickest bowler. I am more known for my swing and accuracy. Tbh I probs open the bowling so I don't get smashed around haha.

I had a pretty good run with the bat last season. Made 500 and something runs. Something along those lines. When was the last time you played cricket competitively?

Nice! Sounds like you'd be a very valuable player. ;)

Had to check MyCricket hahaha. Played my first game of juniors in 2003, debuted in seniors in 2008, Hatch in early 2009. This is when injuries started to take their toll. Played my last full season in 2010/11. Played three games in the last five years - averaging 80.00 over that time. ;)

Omg, amazing.

Obviously VIC would win though because like, y'know. Not like Melbourne is the sporting capital of the world or anything.

Yeah true. But tbh though Sydney plays a LOT of cricket. Most of the cricketers come from there anyway but anyway GO MELBOURNE!!!

Sounds great! I am a wicket-keeper, but can also bowl pace or off-cutters. Go VIC!

Stuart MacGill was a more dangerous bowler than Shane Warne.
