How many marks can I generally drop to gain an A+ on 3/4 exam

 As the topic says, what is the percentage need to assure an A+ on the Bio 3/4 exam.

As the topic says, what is the percentage need to assume an A+ on the Bio 3/4 exam.

Really depends on the year. I will standardise to % loss so we can use older exams and the general range that you need to score is around 75%-90% for a A+ in the exams for biology. Quite a broad range but that really shows you the range of the difficulty of the exams.

Based on recent years (new study design) I would guess VCAA are happy with an A+ cutoff around the low 80s but you never really know what precentage gets an A+ until they release the data.

last year you had get 80% for an A+!

so thats losing 24 marks out of the 120.

As far as I know, for most sciences I've looked at recently, it's around 80% is the lowest A+. Which means that if they are 120-mark exams, you can afford to lose at most 24 marks.
