Hi guys!
I’m in year 10 and it’s time for me to select my vce subjects soon and I really need some help
I’ve already decided that I’m going to do these subjects:
-English
-Physics 3/4 (doing 1/2 atm)
-Math Methods
-Chemistry
-Viscom
For my sixth, I'm considering between
-Specialist Maths or Economics
I want to study engineering or architecture at university. I don't know if I want to do specialist math or economics. The reason I want to do spesh is that I think it will help me with uni math if I ended up picking engineering but I'm afraid that I can't handle the workload. Economics is the only other subject that I'm interested in and I've heard that the teacher is really good for Econ.
If I were to pick Spesh in year 11 and drop it because of the workload, would it be really hard to pick up econ 3/4 without doing the 1/2?
I'm averaging about 95% in my tests in year 10 methods and got 100% on the last test before the end of semester 1, would this be a good indicator that I can handle Spesh? I'm willing to put in the work but I also don't wanna neglect my other subjects because of spesh as well.
That's all. If I could get some advice on choosing my 6th subject and the workload of my subjects from pass/current students doing these subjects, that would be amazing.
Thank you in advance
