The quote im analysing is

"There must be a story. File or Fail"

is there a technique that refers to the end sounds in 'file' and 'fail' that makes them sound similar and lowkey repetitive? Or is there nothing and im just being a little stupid?

Thanks!

Hey there,
You could use high modality here: 'There must be a story" or you could talk about the alliteration of the 'f' sounds. Either way, both techniques are generally used to emphasise an idea.

Hope this helps!

I'm gonna add to that. The "f" sounds are called fricatives which generate an airy effect and thus emphasises the truncated sentence "fail or file"
