Hemispheric Specialisation

When asked for cognitive and behavioural functions of the left and right hemispheres,
which functions are cognitive and which are behavioural?

Behavioural is sensory info. and voluntary bodily movement
Cognitive is everything besides behavioural like problem solving, appreciating art...

I wouldn't regard Sensory info as a behavioural thing.

Behavioural, in this context would most likely be referring to the behavioural actions of the individual that each hemisphere controls.
e.g. RIGHT HEM = LEFT BODY's ACTIONS and vice-versa

my teacher explained this once, but I think they said we didn't have to know it for the course and it wasn't in the textbook but she told us anyway.

if you're referring to functions shared by the left and right hemisphere then cognitive functions include problem solving, decision making, remembering, planning and so on which require the association areas in both hemispheres
behavioral functions are observable actions like throwing a ball or doing a series of dancing steps which require cognition (input from association areas) but also planning, initiation and coordination to be performed and carried out.
