Hey Choco!
Just checking in to ask how has the start of the school year been for you? Have you been up to anything exciting recently?
How have your subjects been and what are you enjoying at the moment? (Hope to see an update soon! )
Hey Ash, aw so sweet thanks for checking up on me! I honestly have wanted to update this for AGES, but have been so busy and just haven't had the chance. Finally though, here it is the much needed, very late update.
Chapter 3: Week one done12/02/20Hey guys, here I am again
Year 12 has been pretty good so far. My timetable is fantastic as I never have more than three proper classes per day! I’m getting used to lugging my bag around again and everything. Also, loving being the oldest year level, having a mini kitchen and all. Yesterday I also got awarded my dux for bio last year, but the assembly was super long (although interesting to see some of the old year 12s come back).
Today we go on camp which is nice cause I won't get anymore homework till Monday. Now, here are some MUCh needed subject updates...
ChemistryI’ve pretty much finished AOS 1 of Chemistry and will start AOS 2 soon. To be honest, this means in class I feel super unproductive and slow
. Our first SAC is now less than a month away (**stress**), but it’s not even going to be on gases, only on fuels and stoichiochemistry. Anyway, this subject is still definitely holding out as my favourite, it’s so interesting and I love it, even if the class is slow. Anyone have any good places to derive some practice questions from?
EnglishEnglish is A okay I suppose. Writing creative pieces is surprisingly fun and I’m so happy that I got a good teacher! The sad thing is that I’m not with many of my friends, especially this one friend who is really really strong in english (she’s doing literature as well so... wow). I've been with her the last two years and it was fantastic because we could share ideas and everything. Now I don’t have anyone to exchange ideas or feedback with in class and this is a little disappointing
. All in all, I just really hope I can smash this creative.
French:Ahh don’t even talk to me about this subject, it's just too hard. Oral SAC is emerging way to quickly for my liking.
Methods: Methods is cool but I really want to start working ahead of my class. They gave us a practice test for chap 1/2 and it was SO easy. It kinda sucks that my school is so bad at maths. I need to lift my game and start whipping through some exercises.
Specialist: I like the Specialist class because it’s so small (only 6 of us)! But the problems take me forever compared to methods. Our class just did a small test on vectors and now we've just started Trig functions in class, (reciprocal functions take FoRever to draw). Also I just realised how competitive this subject is, wow, some people are actually incredible.
On a side note — I stacked at training a few days ago and it was the best (I mean full on face planted from two metres up into the mat). I watched it on the replay but was devastated that we didn’t catch it on film. Comps start soon which is nerve racking considering I have like zero of the skill requirements.
Well that’s it from me. I will definitely try and update this more often from now on (maybe every fortnight).
Andnndnd I’m out ...
