Quick question guys, what sort of WAM would you need to be looking at if you wanted to finish top 3 in your undergrad course?

There's hardly any consistency in the Medal-winning WAMs across courses, but I vaguely recall you're doing BCom, so in that case:

Depends on the strength of the actuarial studies cohort in your graduating year (hope I don't offend anyone by saying this — I'll just remark that this is only my opinion). Could be anywhere from 92 to 94 for top 3. A WAM difference of 2 might seem small, but across 3 years of subjects it is ridiculous, so the WAM range in question is quite wide—this is without even mentioning that it's a difference of 2 in the 90s.

I've gotten access to the 2015 equivalent lecture recording for the NEUR30003 lecture recording I'm still waiting for. Does the content change much from year to year; i.e. should I just use the 2015 lecture?

Any 2nd year BCOM students applying for internships all around? I'm gettin pretty nervous and everything about them, especially for the big 4. Apparently 1-2% of people get a vacation spot :O

Never mind, I got impatient and watched it anyway and it was basically the same (except he didn't finish the lecture, so I still have to improvise -.-). Hopefully the matter gets resolved soon!

Just wondering, what are you planning on majoring in? I'm guessing Finance or Actuarial Science. What kind of jobs are you looking at?

I'd imagine a near perfect GPA/WAM. UoM Commerce seems pretty competitive.

Yes. When you click on a lecture there should be a download audio/video option.

Anyone in BBmed and doing the maths for biomed subject? I have been trying to re-watch the maths lectures on the lecture-cam because I wasn't able to copy things down fast enough, but the camera didn't capture the slide he was working out the question on. I'm specifically referring to pg 71/72 of the slides. Would be incredibly grateful if someone could help out.

EDIT: nevermind, I got it to work. Thanks anyway

Please and thank you

Considering doing Organisational Behaviour in Sem 2 instead of Intro to Actuarial Studies (because apparently it isn't compulsory and is boring). That way I can free up a slot for a finance subject in 2nd year, which I feel I'd enjoy more. Is OB really as bad as they say it is?
