VCE Further Mathematics 3/4 tutoring

Hey there!

My name is Long and I graduated from Melbourne High School in 2015.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching and love the feeling of helping students
understand new concepts. I achieved a raw 48 in VCE Further Mathematics 3/4 and
will be offering both regular (weekly/fortnightly) as well as irregular sessions (SAC
and exam prep). I’ve made an effort to learn all 4 modules so there will be no issues
regarding limits in my knowledge

-------------------------------------Teaching philosophy-------------------------------------

I am a friendly and easy going guy so I’m always able to tailor my teaching style to
maximise my ability to help my students. I aim to present Further in an engaging
way through visuals and examples rather than slabs of text so learning the subject is
not a bore and you may even grow to appreciate its real life applications.

My main focus is to give you a strong foundations on which you can approach SAC
and Exam questions with full confidence in your ability to complete them. This will be
combined with constantly giving you topic related tips as well as showing you tricky
questions not only from VCAA but other exams companies as well.

Ultimately tutoring is about helping students reach and surpass their goals whatever
they may be. No matter what your goal is, whether it’s modest 35 or a state topping
50; I will help you achieve your goals with lesson plans specifically tailored to you.

I offer a complete set of notes for the whole course which includes:
- Notes for CORE and all 4 modules
- Comprehensive explanations for all concepts
- Topical tips and tricks
- Topical tricky questions
- Myriad of practice exams from several companies

I will primarily be tutoring in the CBD area, mainly the State library but I am open to
other nearby locations.

Depending on my living arrangements and university choices, more locations may be
added.

Private tutoring: $30/hour

Group tutoring (up to 3): $20/hour per person

As a student who completed VCE through difficult circumstances and financial
hardship, I’m more than happy to accommodate for students with similar
