Hey,

How back should I go when doing practice papers for pdhpe? I have done 2010-2014 and a few others in the 2000s but the ones in the 2000s sometiems have questions that are not in the current pdhpe syllabus. So any tips? Should I still do all the papers from 2001-2009...?

Thank you :)

Maybe you can mark the questions that still relate to the syllabus now. Alos, if possible get your hands on trial papers for PDHPE.

For Option 4 (improving performance), the point in the syllabus next to 'planning a training year' says 'develop a periodisation chart of the fitness and skill-specific requirements of a particular sport'. i dont understand what it means, can someone please explain?

Hi!!
I'll try and help as much as I can, the syllabus says you need to know the Ottawa charter in reference to two national health priority areas (my class did close the gap and one other of our choosing and I chose road safety) but there's actually a pdhpe support document on the bostes website that sums it all up for you!! Good place to start if you're stuck :)

Hi,

This was a HSC question from 2004:
Explain how the application of the Ottawa Charter addresses social justice principles in relation to cardiovascular disease in Australia.

I am just wondering if this can still be a relavant question since the PE syllabus has changed since 2010.

THANK YOU

Hi Cherryred,
I don't think they will ask in relation to CVD diseases or anything specific but if you look at the 2103 hsc paper they asked: How do the five action areas of the Ottawa Charter address the principles of social Justice? Include examples in your response.
