One thing I don't get is how does one study when they have a double exam?

Just do it the same way I guess, only make sure the night before covers both exams...

Depends on which two exams?
In most cases, you should try and aim to be ready for any exam about a week before (I know that this is sometimes unrealistic and definitely not something that I have stuck to, but either way it should be the aim hahaha). That way, even if you have two exams on one day, you should still be prepared :) That doesn't sort out the issue of burning out/hand cramps after one exam going into another, but if you do practice papers under timed conditions, one after the other, you can probably train yourself to deal with it better.

So yeah, if that happens to you (I know it happens to me at one point, SOR1 and history extension  :-\) maybe try and do a mock exam day, and do one after the other, giving yourself the same amount of break time in between, and see how you fair?

Hope this help!

I used Tim Winton's Short Story called Distant Lands! Neighbours, by Tim Winton, is also good. They can be found in his anthologies Scission or Minimum of Two. Otherwise, Seamus Heaney's poem called Personal Helicon works too! All of these three have been used with Go Back To Where You Came From :)

They certainly can! Module A largely relates to context, so that's always important. But they will often specify something more particular, like characters, a particular scene, or themes. So characterisation is definitely something they could pick up on to test you about :)

An amount that is good for you[/sub]. Some people will study for 2 hours a day and that's enough, whereas others will do 9.

Absolutely agree with Rui. It isn't practical to study for ALL 5 subjects in a day, so focus on one, two or three. If you did two past papers, and a bit of regular study, that could be 8 hours of work. Or, you could do one past papers and some study, which could add up to about 5 hours. Really, it's whatever works for you; if you study too hard, and become unproductive, then there's no point studying at all.
