Monash Uni - Bachelor of Science Unit Selection

Hi,
I'm enrolling in a Bachelor of Science but I'm totally confused with unit selections I've chosen the following units but I don't know if it fits the course map.

Units:

-BIO1011
-BIO 1022
-CHM1011
-CHM1022
-STA1010
Elective: I'm thinking of doing a more laid back unit such as academic writing, although I want to get into Medicine afterwards, is that a bad decision to do an unrelated unit?

Also, i'm confused what level 1 sequence 1 stuff means especially on the course map for sem 1 and 2 could someone explain that plz! Thanks so much!!

I just split your post from that thread since it was quite old   

Are those units for semester 1 or for the whole year? The standard load is 4 units per semester.


I dont think what you choose for a elective matters heaps as long as you are interested in it and motivated to study it through the semester.

Sequence just refers to units that are taken together e.g chm1011 and chm1022 or bio1011 and bio1022.
