Hey Choco!!🍫🍫

I'm so happy to see an update from you and woah more of an English student? (I can see that happening especially with the way you described how you see your English texts!). Also congrats on giving blood for the first time! That's an achievement alone and finding out what your blood type is sure does sound exciting.

Spoiler
I totally understand what you mean by being judged by anonymous people for not getting into whatever you want to pursue. (I was literally going to say exactly what you said for my journal update too). As whys and Bri have already said, I think we would be more focused on supporting you and helping you figure out the next steps if things don't go as planned? (I mean, there probably will be a few people that are going to hate for no logical reason so best to ignore them). In the end, there is no such thing as the right or wrong way to get into something. Yes, some things will take more time than others, but in the end, no matter what pathway you take you will definitely get to the end goal!

Also, WHOOP WHOOP congrats on completing the UCAT!!!! I'm so glad to hear you did really well and that you are happy with your score!

Love your journal update Choco and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you in the future. Make the most of the rest of your weekend  ;D

Hi choco!
I think I know exactly what you mean (surprisingly). I LOVE Photograph 51 and The Penelopiad so much, but unlike you, I love it way better than my text response text. Itís so fun to analyse, and the discussion that precipitates is always quite a heated debate with everyone trying to get their point across but in the end itís all a whole heap of fun and we all learn something new. I donít know but for some weird reason I find comparative easier and more interesting than text response. Also, what books did you order? New books are everything, so perfect and so addictive.

Wow, that sounds great! And yeah, free food is the best. B) Congrats on being legal too, and good on you for donating blood.

Anyways, if you take anything from this, let it be that you shouldnít be afraid of people judging you and your goal is perfectly valid. Youíve got this!!!!
Hi whys! Wow it's cool that we're doing the same texts and it's great you find comparative easier than text response. Anyway thanks you so much for your incredibly supportive response. Reading this made me feel so much better and reminded me to focus on working hard now rather than worrying too much what the future will bring. Thanks again for the reply (whenever I see you your Lion King gif around the forums it makes me smile  ;D)
Also I ordered some fantasy books from a series that I haven't read before so we'll see how they go!

I'm more of an English student than a maths student too (despite studying bio, chem, methods, psych, physics, and now doing advanced science in uni with a math minor ahaha). All fields need people who are good at communication and comprehension definitely including science and med :)

Good on you for donating blood! Definitely not weird to be excited to find out what your blood type is (and even if it was there would be nothing wrong with it) :)
Yes I agree communication is such an important skill. Also I suppose there are tonnes of different ways we use english in our lives and in the workplace (I suppose I've only just come to appreciate that now). Thanks for the reply Bri I appreciate this so much and it definitely makes me feel better. Also an update...I'm A positive!  8)

I tend to do an equal amount of work across all my subjects except methods (because I don't really enjoy the class that much and I know that it will probably be one of my bottom two subjects). Obviously when SACs come up I prioritise certain subjects. Not sure what type of response you were looking for but if you have any more specific questions feel free to ask (or ask on the general forums to get some broader answers from other ANers)

Thank you this means so much ;D

**Very Mini Update
07/08/20
I had my last violin lesson ever yesterday (after 12 years of lessons) so it really feels like an ending! (I'll definitely still play although I suppose the incentive to practice is no longer as strong). Online learning is interesting and I don't really have much to say about it. I've set up a nice little desk area on my dining room table where I can work which is much better than it was last time (where I worked in my room). The pro of online learning this time is that we all know how to roll and the teachers are a lot more prepared.  Also, it's a lot easier to work with teachers one on one in class time.

Many of our SACs have been pushed back (so they can be mailed out to girls without a printer) which is quite annoying (not at all looking forward to doing them at home but what can you do?) Although I only have 7 SACs left for the year, so I'm not nearly as worried as I was the first time in online learning (especially since Unit 4 is worth less now). My french oral and english comparative will probably be done when (hopefully) we go back to school which is good.  Anyways that's it for the very mini update, have a great week everyone  8)
