Hello,

Should I buy ATARNotes Topic Tests, Example Methods book or A+ Mathematical Methods Exam books? Or should I buy all three? Which one of these are the best in terms of sheer quality and which one of these is the best value for money?

I would love to hear your opinions and suggestions  :)

Thank you

EDIT: Doing 3/4 Methods next year.

I don't have experience with the other two books, but I have the ATARNotes topic tests and they really weren't worth the price (sorry AN :'().

Are you doing 1/2 or 3/4? If you're doing 3/4, at this point you should be probably be looking at practice exams. Aside from the VCAA ones, MAV is probably the best?

I am doing 1/2 this year; 3/4 next year. Why are the Topic Tests not worth it?

Ahhhh right sorry. I automatically thought this was for 3/4, in which case the topic tests aren't worth buying when exams are so close.

If you are in 1/2 the topic tests could be quite helpful in making sure you've got a solid foundation before you move on to practice exams. The reason I said they aren't worth the money is bc in terms of difficulty they are still quite a distance away from the kind of questions you'd get on VCAA exams.

Hey there, the Cambridge textbook was sufficient for me in terms of learning the course this year. I bought the A+ notes but I never ended up using it because it didn't provide anything that my textbook or online resources didn't have. Anything with practise questions is good though, but tbh textbooks and note books are very overrated imo. Good luck though  ;)
