HSC students: apply here.
VCE students: apply here.

Please read this entire post before applying. :)

What is TuteSmart?
TuteSmart is affordable, comprehensive and effective HSC/VCE tutoring. You can find out more about the TuteSmart Program at the links below:

TuteSmart HSC: more information here.
Explanatory video.
TuteSmart VCE: more information here.
Explanatory video.

What does a TuteSmart scholarship involve?
Successful applicants will be enrolled in every single one of their subjects on offer, and have complete access to the program as outlined in the videos posted above. These scholarships are valued at over $5,000 each.

Am I eligible for a TuteSmart scholarship?
To be eligible to apply, you need to:
a) have an ATAR Notes account; and
b) have made at least one post on the ATAR Notes Forums.

If you do not yet have an ATAR Notes account, you can create one here - doing so is free, and only takes a few moments. If you have an account but have not yet made a post, why not introduce yourself to the community in this thread?

Apply for a TuteSmart scholarship:
Assuming you are eligible, please complete the relevant application form below by Friday 6 September, 2019. No applications after this date will be considered.

HSC students: apply here.
VCE students: apply here.

Frequently asked questions:
Click me.
How many scholarships will be offered?
At least two overall, across states and year levels.

How many times can you apply?
One time per user. Logically, the application you submit will be your best one.

On what basis are the scholarships awarded?
There are two question prompts:
(1) Describe how you have contributed to the ATAR Notes Forums/community.
(2) How will you benefit from a TuteSmart scholarship?

Responses to these questions prompts will help inform the decision. Ultimately, it is up to our discretion.

How will recipients be notified?
All applicants, irrespective of whether they are awarded a scholarship or not, will be notified of the outcome via email.

Are these the only scholarships offered?
We will most likely also be offering academic scholarships - details to come.

If you apply for this scholarship but are unsuccessful, can you then apply for an academic scholarship?
Yes.

Can you apply even if you're not in Year 12 in 2020?
Yes, you may apply if you are in the Class of 2020 or younger. Please be aware that relevant subjects available may be fewer if you are in younger years.

Can current TuteSmart students apply?
Yes, if you are currently a TuteSmart member but would like to apply for a scholarship for the 2019/2020 program, that is fine.

Final words:
We are so excited to offer these TuteSmart scholarships, and we're looking forward to your application. Please remember that the application deadline is Friday 6 September, 2019. If you have any questions, please post them below. :)

Sure. At least one post on the forums. The more quality posts the better, given the criteria. :)

Thanks for your question, and welcome to ATAR Notes!

Hey Duristu,

Welcome to the forums!
I would recommend you include any note uploads in your response to question 1 :)
