hey great example exam thank you! for question 28 b would a zero force not be able to be established if the current of the two wires where acting in opposite directions? so a 0 is dependent on the current in the wires, not magnitude but direction??

Reasonably sure if that if the currents were acting in opposite directions, R would need to be placed outside the two wires (not in between!) - as one wire would attract it while the other would push it away; it's entirely possible to establish a zero force if the wires are acting in opposite directions. Not quite sure what the last part of your question means though
