4am is pretty hectic! Have you always been an early riser?

I've always wanted to wake up this early but I finally got myself into the habit this year. I'm more productive in the morning ;D
Naturally a night owl so it was tough at first. I just slowly shifted my waking time by half an hour or so at a time

Really cool. So 4am is just the norm for you now? Do you feel lethargic through the day at all?

Not at all! I've gotten used to it. Now if I stay up to 22.00 or so I start feeling how most people would feel at 03.00 :P

Love it. I was quite similar to that in Year 12, although I probably went to bed a bit earlier and also woke up a bit later haha. Don't think I could have lasted on much less sleep. Good on you!

Hey Zappi, nice to see a fellow language enthusiast! Japanese seems cool, do you learn it through Distance Ed or at an actual VSL centre? Also, have you ever visited Japan?

Been a good break but I never actually got around to doing anything school related apart from working on my Software Dev project a bit and going to some lectures :'(

Finally got a new bike which means I'll be able to ride to and from school again which will be nice ;D

That's awesome! How long is your ride to school? Is it difficult to take your school bag on the back of your bike? ;D

I'm about fifteen minutes away by bike so it's not too bad ;D Bag's an issue though, it's always way too heavy

7th October 2019

Been too long since I've posted anything! Lots happened since (basically all of Term 3)

Didn't do that much over the holidays which I kinda regret (only did some Software notes and a Further Maths Exam 1) :'( Got to relax though which was nice. Our school had Connect Education lectures over the holidays but I missed both of them :-[ Waste of $80

Did pretty well on my SACs from what I've gathered so far ;D Got 86% on GA1 for Further Maths (rank 5). I'll update this as I find out my final scores ;D Think I ended up being rank 2 for BusMan but I'm not sure, and I got 95% for my Software Development SAT ;D

Not sure how prepared I feel overall yet. Still have a lot of time left but I'm definitely regretting not doing enough up until now. First exam's on the 16th of October (next Thursday) for my Japanese SL Oral, but I'm not really too worried about it ;D

Ended up going to the Climate Strike on the last Friday ;D Unfortunately didn't meet up with anyone but I took a lot of photos on my film camera: https://put.re/album/bP8fEihr/ (careful if you're on data as it'll download all the images at once). Used Kodak TMax P3200 and Fuji Velvia 100 if anyone's interested in that.

I'm hoping to update this more often in the lead-up to exams to keep myself accountable! I'll try to post at least daily ;D

Thank you ;D Photos cost a bit to shoot and develop so I'm glad they came out alright 😊
I've practised a few times but not much. Hopefully plan to do one today with my teacher.
