I am very excited that the boiling hot water tap at the uni cafeteria kitchen worked this morning. I can have my tea! 😍

Huge win.
One wug.

The Thousand Steps and the Dandenong Ranges generally makes for a great walk in the moonlight with ghostly ferns and trees about and the odd wallaby inspecting you or hopping away.
In western lands beneath the Sun
the flowers may rise in Spring,
the trees may bud, the waters run,
the merry finches sing.

I smell like cinnamon for no logical reason

I just... I Am Cinnamon.
You're both the fire and the water that extinguishes it.
You're the narrator, the protagonist, and the sidekick.
You're the storyteller and the story told.
You are somebody's something, but you are also your you.

It's so weird learning new piano pieces again. I feel like a toddler.

But the satisfaction when you finish pieces and make them sound polished is worth it though!

Be careful! You may just start speaking simlish! :P (Whenever I open Sims 4, I get so hooked on it 😅).

I've piled on so many extra hours at uni this week that I've forgotten what forgotten what day it is twice in the space of an hour 😅

Melbourne Knowledge Week had insects for sale at their Utopian Foods cafe (the idea being food options that are potentially more sustainable). How could I not try them? :)

Fenner: has no fire alarms for a few weeks

Fenner on Thursday: just a few loud whoops at 1am to keep everyone on their toes

Fenner yesterday: broken valve resulting in evacuation and a floor being flooded and inaccessible for half a day

Fenner (still yesterday), 20 minutes later: lmao how bout another fire alarm whilst they’re still outside

Fenner today: suppose it’s time for a precinct evacuation

If anyone’s keeping count that’s 22 fire alarms (not including the 3 or 4 times we’ve had random whoops but not a proper alarm) and 21 evacuations. Averaging 1 evacuation approx every 5 days.
