As you may know, we've recently gone through some transitions in our moderator team.

In December 2017, jakesilove became the first Honorary Moderator from New South Wales. The next month, in January 2018, Aaron also stepped down from a National Moderator role, and was followed soon after by meltingkeith. Both Aaron and Meithy joined Jake in a new HonMod position. Just last month, we saw elysepopplewell follow suit, before RuiAce stepped down just some weeks ago.

This is, always has been, and always will be, the nature of ATAR Notes. And whilst every single one of Jake, Aaron, Meithy, Elyse and Rui have left a big hole in our moderator team, their transitions have also left great opportunity for others to step up - and that's a really, really exciting thing.

I'm very, very happy to announce that, as of today, we have a new National Moderator in our ranks.

This user has been around for some years, and has been an incredibly valuable contributor to ATAR Notes across that time. They encapsulate everything ATAR Notes is about - this user is simply an ATAR Notes Person. We have absolutely zero doubt they'll do a stellar job in their new role.

I probably would have done a happy dance if I wasn’t currently surrounded by other people, I had to do one in my head instead. Massive congratulations ;D
