Nice to meet you as well, I did bio 1/2 this year. It was alright, but I definitely preferred unit 2 over unit 1.
Me too! It's such a shame you don't do genetics in 3/4.

What do y'all do with your free time? No I'm not kidding (but I know that most people don't really feel like they have free time).

I honestly hate reading lol, I highkey don't even watch any shows either. But I do like to watch this YouTuber that does 'internet analysis' on internet issues, other than that I'm probably sleeping.

Hey!

Fellow Class of 2021 student here. What subjects are you taking this year? :)

P.S. Is this going to be a JMSS thread? You can change the title by clicking on the modify button on your post.

Hiii!!  8)

I have chosen Bio, Design, Drama, English, Legal Studies, General Maths (but i might choose methods and can someone help me out with choosing general or methods)!!

I've done everything and a lot more for my 3/4 subject (Methods) which I am really happy about, but I've been very lazy with my 1/2s. Hopefully I can motivate myself to get them done within the next week because I really don't want to be doing stuff the night before I go back.

Hello Izzythebear123!

Great mix of subjects there! :)

Regarding General vs Methods, I'd consider:
- what topics in maths you enjoy. Methods features topics such as calculus, algebra, trigonometry and probability whereas Further has a focus on topics applicable to real life such as financial maths and geometry.
- what you would like to do / study after Year 12. Some university courses require the completion of methods - pre-requisites for university courses you're interested in (you can search for uni course pre-reqs here.)

All the best for Year 11! :)

Hi all!
Been a pretty long time, but since school is approaching very quickly, just wondering how everyone will cope with distractions throughout the year whilst focusing on their 3/4 Subject?
I get very distracted every day and honestly cannot finish what I have planned or wanted to.
Anyone have a similar kind of habit?
Spread kindness!
