Lyrebirds (yes, that's the Thousand Steps).

Lyrebirds are fantastic to see but I can't look at that photo without thinking of my first ecology assignment (comparing vegetation communities there)

When you have a friend that wants to do revision with you after school each week for the exams ;D ;D ;D
means that I can be a bit more organised in my life :-*

Aww. I approve.

Coming home to kitty cuddles and lots of purring 🥰
You're both the fire and the water that extinguishes it.
You're the narrator, the protagonist, and the sidekick.
You're the storyteller and the story told.
You are somebody's something, but you are also your you.

Finally having a decently warm day (18 degrees where I go to school) after so many days of rain and wind :)

Wasn't it wonderful! Today and yesterday I spent all of lunchtime walking around the oval with friends, and even volunteered to walk home afterschool! I LOVE spring!!

I had a blissful 14 hours last night for very similar reasons! How fantastic!
Also, how pretty are sunsets?😍

There were a couple of ducks having a snooze in the sun near where I was studying yesterday - I just came back to the same spot and there are now a couple of ducks being followed around by their babies! I need to bring my camera with me tomorrow, my phone struggles to capture their cuteness.

The weather this morning.
It's lovely and sunny - the first morning in a long while where I havent actually been shivering when leaving my house for a run.
It seems the weather has also brought other runners and cyclists out which is nice.

To carry this on, Erutepa and I just went for a walk down by the river. All of the flowers are blooming and the banks are covered in white and yellow. There were butterflies and birds singing and a colourful little beetle came for a ride some of the way. It's the most beautiful day weather-wise I've seen in a long time.

It sure was nice today, and I'm kinda v glad my mum dragged out of the house, it's the first time I've experienced daylight outdoors for more than 5 mins/day all week* and I really enjoyed it!
