What is the ATAR Notes Aural Analysis Club?

AA (no, we're not alcoholics ;)) is a chance to practice your aural analysis skills before the Music 1 Exam. Practicing is difficult, because there aren't a lot of proper recordings and exam style questions out there. We'll have excerpts and questions released at regular intervals to help you out in the lead up to your exams.

How Does It Work?

Once a week or so (depends on interest, don't let me down guys!) we'll put up a thread with a recording, and a question attached to it. Your job is simple - Attempt the question. You might want to do it under exam conditions, you might want to just jot down some rough bullet points. However it is going to be useful to you.

Once you're done, post your ideas to the thread for that week! Again, it could be pictures of a response you did under time, it could be some rough dot points and ideas. Bounce your ideas off of people, try and mark each others work and help each other hear new things and improve! I'll be chiming in regularly with advice and feedback as well - But this is a collaborative thing. Help each other out, it will help you as well!

Thanks so much for this!! Super helpful resources! I've added them to the main music resources thread!  ;D

I've also unlocked the thread so if you (or anyone else) finds anything helpful you can add it there!  :)
