It's certainly no Garamond, which, as we all know, is the best font available.

What else would I use, Cambria?

Only because they put the limit back on it, predicting this exact thing happening

At least in my area, yeah.

TP is also down a little here, but thankfully we have enough this time to not have to search high and low for it 😅

So true!

I think if you ask your school teacher for the subject (eg. Biology) if they have an original copy of the exam, they might be able to show you the pictures on the exam?

Jerks that jam up the lab's only autoclave's door so it doesn't open when I actually desperately needed it (I booked in), and jerks that book it out for the whole day the following day >:(

The thing that shits me the most is when your parents dont warn you about a guest coming over so you can hide and force you to meet with them. And the worst thing that shits everyone in my class to tears, is when you are the first person to join the meeting, it's just you and the teacher and the teacher forces you to turn the camera on while awkwardly staring at you, and when u turn it off she demands you turn it on again. The worst part is the fact teachers actually have the ability to unmute you in a meeting, like I CAN UNMUTE IT MY SELF.

What my avatar is
If you are wondering about my avatar, It was inspired by a problem I did which asked me to prove that the graphs of xy = 1 and y^2 = x^2 + 2 intersected at a 90 degree angle. The resulting figure in the middle kinda like a 8-sided square in hyperbolic space. It also resembles the conformal map of the complex square root.

The laser table I need is booked for the next three weeks - typically, people only need it a day at a time. Like, no, it's okay, I didn't need to do my research anyway?? 🙃

Big oof :(

Looks like my week next week will be spent dealing with growing bacteria to amplify DNA (so I need some bacteria broth autoclaved); I have about 2ul of the DNA I need left and need a lot more of it for things so this unable to autoclave business isn't helpful when I'm not allowed in the lab on weekends/after 6pm 🙃

@insanipi it might not seem ideal now, but be thankful you have restricted lab hours. Once you have access 24 hours, you end up spending waaaay too much time in the lab.

I had to disassemble and clean part of the instrument that I'm using because it was dirty and giving me not so great results. I've had to do this a few times and each time, there is a little hassle realigning and calibrating everything. Except this time, an entirely new issue has arisen that I've never seen before (and of course its when I'm on a serious deadline). I spent the last three days correcting it (was in the lab until 9:00 PM on Wednesday), but I'm still not convinced that its working properly.

Since I'm on a deadline, it looks like I'll be working through the weekend testing old samples to make sure that the data being collected is reproducible. I wish I could go back a few weeks ago when I was complaining that I wasn't allowed in the lab.
