Restarted my laptop. Had 20+ important tabs open, and I can't recover any of them. Time to die.

Switching on the news and seeing murders of police officers every second week :(

I feel you! I had a school zoom session going on and my laptop decided to switch off  :'(

Old posts are definitely a good laugh.

It can be easy at times, to be transfixed by someone's opinions and perceptions. When you over-accentuate them, your sense of reality may be distorted. The takeaways of life's tribulations, can only be grasped if you alternate your interpretations, and capitalise on them. Challenge your prejudices, change for your own good, and for the good of those you associate with. Own your fallibility, your past, your personal obstacles, and ruthlessly overcome them.

Replacement buses. I swear if I had breakfast this morning I would've tossed cookies- the route taken today took so many sharp turns :( *

*full disclaimer: I am allowed under the permitted work schedule to attend my uni campus for labwork under the current stage 4 restrictions, I'm not flouting the rules ❤ please stay home as much as you can. :)

Oh wow, that's actually really interesting - our honours students aren't allowed to go in at all
Try out my study score calculator, request your subjects, and help give feedback if you've already completed VCE!

Dear VCE 3/4 Chemistry students: you do not need to know how to do pH calculations for your exam. That is all.

The provost or someone high up allowed Monash Parkville to continue with honours having exemptions- I can't stay there if all I'm doing is paperwork etc but I can come in if I need lab facilities (thank God otherwise I'd be pretty fucked haha)

Something about the faculty falling under either bio/medical research, "research in facilities that Australia has a competitive edge", or scientific professional services (at least that's what some reasons are from my understanding)

Huh, cool as! I'm allowed in as well, but because my research is counted as essential tertiary education services (my research has nothing to do with education mind, it's just that it's essential to me getting my degree). Unfortunately, honours kids don't qualify under the same heading because they're undergraduate students :'(

I rarely leave my house. I rarely get phone calls. And yet somehow I frequently get called when I'm on the bus.

Same. Except its not on the bus, its when I'm in an area with lots of noise or bad reception.

There is ongoing construction diagonally opposite the place I am currently living.

The workers start their very loud music really quite early in the morning, which is a bold move given the entire neighbourhood is necessarily working from home, and there will no doubt be essential shift workers trying to sleep.

Going outside is like that scene from Harry Potter where Voldemort is telling Harry he has one hour with the magically amplified voice.

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

Studying for an exam next week thinking it is open book. Found out tonight it is closed book and obviously we need to have a cameras on for the duration of the exam. I don't cope well knowing someone is watching me do an exam.
