It's sad that I wore the guernsey with pride throughout the day whilst playing my own game, but forgot to check on the team that I was supporting... :(

Ah well.... At least I can put my whole support behind Melb's finals attempt

I think they're paying way too much and would rather the funds directed towards Gaff etc. but he's a good player so I am definitely not complaining that they've (nearly) secured him. He's only 25 so he's got at least 5 more good years you'd think?

i'm just happy we finally managed to get somebody decent after all the hit and miss shots so far..

Happy enough, don't really care about the funds. It's front loaded, and honestly we must be flirting with the salary cap minimum, or at least knowing we'll have big funds year on year as we frontload contracts. Pretty smart.

To me, I'd want them to go ever harder at Gaff right now - honestly would not even care if he became the highest paid player in the AFL.

Bringing in Gaff makes Polec even more worthwhile... and with the potential for someone else (Hall? Rohan?) that can be huge for next season. We aren't one good player away from contention... we need more than that so happy w/ Polec as icing but need the whole cake (Gaff, maybe more) for Polec to taste extra good.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Steamrollin'

Good riddens. No disrespect to teams remaining but I really hope GWS and Dees GF. Need a fresh pair.

I've enjoyed the last couple of GF's purely because they've been success stories. Hoping it continues.

Great game by the Dees, never looked in doubt really. Could it be another fairy tale this year?

It's starting to get that feel about it, which is scary.

Way too late, but fuck they looked good. Jack Viney is a beast, Harmes has lifted to new heights and Hibberd <33
