Didn't wish to revive thread but a note for those who haven't bought their textbooks yet.

The authors that write The Essentials textbook also write the VCAA exam so it might be more beneficial to get Essentials over Quest or the other ones.

And Quest (methods last year at least) is absolutely riddled with either incorrect BOB answers or plain old dodginess..

Sometimes it seems that Essentials covers concepts 'slightly' out of the study design though. Still I personally had a much better experience with Essentials.

I don't know about MQ, but Essentials is excellent. If it covers stuff outside the SD, it's beneficial and I definitely read through it and understood it. Why not? :)

What about the Methods and Specialist Cambridge ones?
That's what my school uses. Are they just crap?
