just found this
can not comment on how accurate this is
but I plugged in my last years  scores and it generated a pretty close number
P.s VCAA moderates your scores so this is not set in stone

Can someone help predict my study scores for the following subjects?

English (average cohort)
GA1: 73/100 rank 50/150
GA2: 70/100 rank 70/150
GA3: 43/60

Specialist (very strong cohort)
GA1: 70/100 (will probably scale to 80/100) rank 20-25/100
GA2: low A+ or mid A
GA3: low A+

Japanese SL (very strong top end average bottom)
GA1: 90/100 rank 3/8
GA2: 93/100 rank 3/8
GA3: 80%
(Japanese kind off hard to predict since sac scores are entirely dependent on exam for such a small cohort but whatever)
Bump for Japanese.

Scenario 1: 320/400 for exam. SACs scale to low A+/high A
Scenario 2: 340/400 for exam: SACs scale to low A+/high A
Scenario 3: 360/400 for exam: SACs scale to low A+/high A
(Exam A+ cutoff is 336/400)

Thanks in advanced.

Edit
What study score would i be looking at if my rank is 8/10 and averaging 55% on SACs if i got 90% on the exam????
What study score would I get if my overall score for unit 3 and 4 were
Unit 3- 80/100
Unit 4- 68/100
Exam- 66/80 or 70/80
I can try estimate both your scores if you put the actual subject you want predicted lol

Unit 4- 68/100
Exam- 66/80 or 70/80

Accounting (strong cohort):
Unit 3: 80/100 / B~B+?
Unit 4: 85/100 / B~B+?
Exam: 92/100 / A+
What`s needed on the exam for a 45 raw?

Chemistry (strong cohort):
Unit 3: 70/100 / B~B+?
Unit 4: 70/100 / B~B+?
Exam: 100/120 / A+
What`s needed on the exam for a 42 raw?

Methods (strong cohort):
SACs: 90+% / Low-Mid A to A+ average
Exam 1: 39/40 / High A+
Exam 2: 77/80 / High A+
What is the lowest mark (/120) for a 50?

Specialist (strong cohort):
SACs: 95+%/Mid-High A+ average
Exam 1: 38/40 / High A+
Exam 2: 77/80 / High A+
What is the lowest mark (/120) for a 50?

I'm gonna say 37ish but you'd probably get audited if you got 90% on the exam since it's like 5 letter grades higher than your sacs (unscaled) so take my prediction with a grain of salt

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER ME!!!!!
I have made so many posts on this site and been met with no responses yet.
I WANT AN IDEA OF MY ATAR OR STUDY SCORES.
Please can someone help to alleviate my anxiety. I did jack shit for all my classes this year, (which really should answer my question), but didn't think i would have regrets until now. I want a 90, is it still possible?????????

Psychology U4 86%, U3 83% (no idea about cohort average), aiming for A- A+ in exam.
Further U3 81.85%, U4 68% (I would guess this is about the middle). Aiming for a B+ on both exams.
Japanese U3 80%, U4 82% (small class of 12 so hard to guess a rank, but we all do well on exams, about A).
Studio arts U3 written SAC 98%, folio no idea, U4 written SAC 100%, again folio idk. Exam aiming for 95-100%.
English U3 77.9% (about second to top band), U4 81.85%, exam aim = A+
2018 Biology, 34 study score (got about 70-75% on Sacs, C+ for exam).

This goes for all future posters: predicting SS's without knowing your rank and cohort strength will be very very inaccurate so don't blame me if my predictions are way off.

I'm assuming your SACs do not scale at all (unlikely). Also it would be much more accurate if you state whether your predicted exam score will be a high A+, med A+, low A+ etc. since they're weighted differently.
Further: 34
Japanese: 34-38
English: 37-42

Not enough info/don't know the grade distributions for the other subjects but this should give you a general idea as to how you're going.

Use the ATAR calculator to predict your atar.

Pretty sure 43/60 for the English exam is an A. Also I would say a 38/40 for Spesh exam 1 would be closer to a mid A+ for safety measures.
For a 50 in Methods you want to drop 1-2 marks in exam 2 depending on the difficulty and if possible 0 in exam 1 iirc
With the scores you've given I'd say like 47-48
For Spesh probably the same but I would say exam 1 is less forgiving (the cut offs are highers)
I'm not too sure about the higher end for spesh but I'd say your scores would yield a 45ish

I was wondering what study score I would most likely get for psych if:
Unit 3- 90/100
Unit 4- 76/90
Exam- 104-5/120

Cohort --> medium to strong cohort

ranked in the top third of the class (15 students) - 5th or 6th
moderate cohort (although the people above me are fairly strong  (all same capability)
how many marks can I afford to lose for a 40 to 45?
