Hi, I would like to know how important the GAT is and if it will affect your VCE Marks in the slightest, regardless of whether it is used because of illness come exam time etc?

Something that's been missed: your VCE marks will never go down as a result of the GAT. It only serves to help you
And, no one takes it terribly seriously :P

Only two people stayed until the end at my school, and I was one of them, lol. I was just curious to see how I would go if I actually tried.

I think that it's probably best to take the GAT at least semi-seriously, just in case. Practise GATs and the like are a bit excessive though.
