For anyone who's done BCMB30002, I noticed in the first 4 weeks there is a computer-based tutorial. Is it possible to not attend one of the tutorials, or possibly do the work at home? (Also where does the 5% assessment stem from? Is it all four tutes or just an assessment at the end of the series). Thankyou!!

Regarding physics, the unimelb system is dodgy and sometimes they don't register your VCE scores (I remember when I tried enrolling last year it refused to believe me I got above the English score needed to get into the university in the first place).

In this case you'll have to submit an enrolment variation form (go to this link and scroll down to "submit an EV form"), follow the instructions, and you'll need to attach a photo with proof of your physics score (a screenshot of your VCE results with your name included would be fine). It'll take about 1-2 business days then you'll be automatically enrolled.
Thanks!
I have done that now. Its a little frustrating to see how the system is all over the page and requires to login in so many places. I was also very confused with my.unimelb and prod.ss.unimelb.edu.au.... why not have a better user-friendly navigating sitemap.............................

Where can i find a guide for subject enrollment for engineering. i haven't done specialist maths, as it wasn't offered due lack of interest from fellow students. I have found a normal one, but idk how much will my structure differ?

The best "guide" would be this page which lists all the possible majors that relate to engineering. There is also this course planning guide and this list of sample course plans.

As you haven't done Spesh, you'll need to do Calculus 1 in Sem 1 and Calculus 2 in Sem 2. Linear Algebra can be done in Sem 1, Sem 2 or the summer semester.

Thanks! that helped...
I cant do linear algebra in sem 1, as spesh is requirement for that too, so sem 2 it will be.
I still have extra points left... do i need to use them all?
I have attached my enrollments below, tell me if everything looks good :D

No, the remaining points will be used by science subjects in the future years.

Calculus 2: Advanced is a new subject and has Calc 1 grade based requirements so be wary of that, the other option is to do Calculus 2.

Pretty sure hoodies are given out at the Commencement Ceremony this year, and they're no longer specifically for science students.

Hey guys,
I'm in year 11 this year and I'm really keen on Melbourne Uni at the moment for a number of reasons, the academic and overseas scholarship opportunities as well as the vibrant social side, however I'm having trouble which college I think i would best fit in: I'm quite academically focused, but I also love music and play it, I'm a huge sports fan and I really enjoy the outdoors and defs an extrovert. I'm passionate about global politics and debating but I also just want to chill and meet cool and happy people (I'm from regional victoria). Also I'm like crazy competitive, and sorry I know it's a strange mix of things to enjoy but I wouldn't say out of sport, academics, music and social gatherings that I like one more than the other!
Any advice would be much appreciated,
:)

In response to the email from the Provost is anyone able to access the list of subjects that will be on-campus
https://students.unimelb.edu.au/student-support/coronavirus/return-to-campus/subjects?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=provost_sem2_info&utm_content=provost_sem2_info+CID_4921420e885629a0c710820a7c665392&utm_source=Campaign%20Monitor&utm_term=Check%20for%20subjects%20with%20in-person%20teaching%20and%20learning
The link does not work for me
Although, I think all my subjects will be online

EDIT: The link works now one of my core subjects has on-campus delivery for workshops yikes
