Post by: Ansaki on January 19, 2019, 07:33:22 pm
havent done physics in year 10 and i havent done units 1 and 2
what do you guys say i gotta do to catch up and perform well throughout the year?
and i go to a under represented school does this effect my study score in any way?
my study score aim is 40 at least... is this possible for me?

No. But under represented schools (generalising here, not all true) tend to have a mixed bag of students therefore potentially dragging down your study scores due to cohort strength (lack of it). 40 is possible in any situation, though.

I'll leave the Physics-specific commentary to somebody who has done it.

Yooo most important thing to catch up on is probably the forces and motions topics. Also I would personally recommend you have a solid understanding of electrical circuits and are able to do V=IR on different components of a circuit (as it becomes relevant when dealing with transformers). Might be forgetting a little but it would defo be advantageous to catch up on forces and motion.

Hope I helped!
