iwas crazi @ metho (first post!)

gimme a REALISTIC prediction of score:

SAC; ~99%
exam 1; 38\40 (v. disapointing)
exam2 ; ( 77- 78 ) /80

i'm thinkin ss= 46-47 (sometwaht disapointing? i owned meth)  :?

HERE ARE SOME REAL PREDICTIONS AT TOP END (given that sacs are high; all of "kido"'s predictions are lamely/retardedly unrealistic)
119-120 : 50
118-119:  49
116-118: 48
114-116: 45-46
110-114: 43-45

<110 :  :?:
Anyone disagree? remember that comptetion is always high at top...espeecilay with 17000 doin' meth.

You're a very blunt person, to drop potentially only four marks across two methods papers and complain about it being disappointing.

It's a bit stupid to ask for assistance in predicting scores, when you yourself have made some "REAL PREDICTIONS!!! kido IS RETARDEDLY UNREALISTIC!!!"

I'll give you a realistic one. I'll use your stats, and state you'll get 45.

I've never met anyone who complains with such good scores. Except me. But I've dropped more marks than you have, and my school entitles me to complain.

I do not know the point of your post. I admit I am no VCAA authority, though many of my mates found the test very difficult and a lot of people just left pages blank. I am not trying to defend my 'retarded' predictions, because they are my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

I just wish all FSNers good luck in their score.

I disagree, and do not be too confident yourself, you might have made a silly mistake. Did you put units squared, show every step of working, simplify integral expressions, check all your MC questions, write neatly so examiners can understand. Did you use Units for all calculations. For probability did you simplify all expressions, identify whether it is not a binomial or if it was continuous and why.

Did you....

Well, if you didn't,as you say competition is hard at the top end, you might end up with a 39(that is my REALISTIC prediction)

And I agree with that.

i wanted to discuss some realistic expectations
i do wish all FSNers well but you statement here:

""
45- 100+ across the 2 papers

40-90+ across the two papers """

is really just ignorant; i just wanted to know what to expect on results day. tis  all.  you're like deluding other ppl.

plus im y11 so 100% time went to methods; its pr. different for y12s so sorry then...... (p.s. exam was not THAT hard was it? or am I the ignorant one?)

sorry for such a controversial 1st post lol!

Yeh you are 'crazy at metho'.
You do not know what you are talking about with those 'retarded predictions' and your arrogant attitude.

Arrogant is the message you're putting across.

Complaining about dropping 4 marks, insulting other members (granted, I've done it but I've learnt).

You know exactly what to expect, you've stated it yourself. You are the ignorant one, as you have to remember not everyone did as well as you.

17,000 kids don't do meth. Only you are on the "metho" after those two posts.

Well compared to last years, i would say it was THAT hard. in 100 minutes, without any serious study done (this was about a month before the 2007 exam 2) i finished the 2006 Exam 2 and dropped about 4 marks. If i only had 100 minutes this year, i wouldnt have finished.

it's not ignorant. it's a guess. just like your guesses. none of us know what the average mark is going to be, or what the A+ mark is going to be. we can only guess.

just a note however, and i could probably speak for most others, arrogancy isn't charming. modesty is a much more likeable quality, and one that many of the very intelligent people here at FSN seem to posess, i've noticed.

jzjzjz just got owned lol  i love fsn haha
i did really well with the 2006 exams without any study. Then i studied hard core for this year and completely screwed up exam 1. Im sure apart from the few exceptions (people like Ahmad) im just like the rest of the state. I think the best way to predict scores is to look at the vcaa grade distributions from last year (http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2006/statssect3.html)  with their respective percentages and account for the varying state performance this year.

True, but you have to remember that last years exam was much easier and shorter than this year.

We can only guess our scores till that day (27 days and about 18 hrs time)

Forums encourage use of structured sentences and things such as: grammar, punctuation and spelling. Also, dropping the arrogant attitude and adopting a one similar to what Ahmad displays would be of benefit to you.
