Are you sure you can write it in dot-points? Doesn't it have to structured like an essay.

Very sure, apparently the markers like it as it's easier to read through

Can you use a pencil to write throughout the exam?

I didn't get my pen license back in Primary School (rebel) so my hand writing is putrid.

Do you guys find some of the past/prac exam Qs a bit vague? I mean I answer it correctly, but when I check out the answers the mark allocations can be a bit weird sometimes.

25 PAGES?!  :o

Also, apparently you can't write in pencil because it doesn't scan very well and it's harder to read :/

there are 45 mc's
11 short answer

Dont stress guys there's more pages for the people who overwrite. They found that last year they made a mistake by not providing more room for writing so they added in extra space this time

Well I just did a practice exam and forgot that the time I'd started at had been the start of reading time, not the writing time, and promptly rushed through it horribly.  It can only get easier for me from here  :P
I'm hoping section C is on a memory topic (it won't be Alzheimer's, certainly), but I have a feeling they'll pick something else like the CNS because of already having done a memory question last year. As long as it isn't brain research methods...

Do you mean extra paper that you can get, or just more pages on the exam itself? Good news, either way.
Edit: When considering the amount of criteria they were marking against for section C, including examples, the space they provided really was inadequate

Bazza is right, however section C could be about the theories of forgetting - RIMD and their limitations/advantages which can be 10marks, but i also think that it might be on split brain studies, if not then the role of the RAS/Thalamus in memory. So like the medial lobes, hippocampus, amygdala etc

You can't predict what section c will be guys so I think its a waste of time talking about what its gonna be on. I'm pretty sure a lot of people predicted anything besides Alzheimer's for last years exams.

I'm guessing that section C will be on the role of the RAS and thalamus
