Good exam. Parts seem a bit too 'tedious' for VCAA though. Oh well, best to prep for the worst :)

Sorry to alarm you, I may be wrong, but is Q10 asin(2x) or is it meant to be sin(x), because a pdf canot have neg probabilities...

Yep - you're right. There are actually a few errors in the exam that came about from final minute editing (of course it wasn't my fault :P). Haha, as you said, the question was originally asin(x).

Another error is the mark allocation to each question, because you will find that they don't add up to 40. Another error made in the editing stages. However, I think Paul is fixing those.

Don't worry, no errors will rise in exam 2 :D

Ok everyone, the new Version 2 is up, I've changed the marking scheme a little (basically the last question is not worth 3 marks) - so the marks should total up to 40 (:

Also, I've fixed question 10 :)

You can download it from the opening post, I've changed the files over :)

Congrats guys, really great exam. Very challenging throughout, and requires a lot of thought in a few questions :P

Can't spot any errors apart from the one that's been fixed up, so hopefully I've done well according to the solutions :P

Just did the exam. I have to say it's really good (I like the last question :P )

Also is the derivative of tan strictly on the methods syllabus?
