Do you guys do prac exams in same conditions as real exam and actually write in detail in short answer questions??
Depends. First 3 I do without a time limit. But after that I do it properly in exam conditions. And if I don't like an answer I've written in SA I'll go overtime till I get it right. There's no point in ignoring it I guess. So a bit of both. I have a habit of writing way too much for my answers though...

lisachem and neap make me despressed...
haha they're stupid anyway. Sometimes the lisachem questions are completely irrelevant. Neap is okay sometimes though.

I only do vcaa, insight, T4T and TSSM cos I don't like the others. Stav makes wayyy too many mistakes which just bug me.
What company is T4T, i've never heard of them before.
Also this question robbed me of my first 90/90, can anybody care to explain why i'm wrong or why their wrong?
Mnemonic devices rely on the method of __________ to improve memory.
I wrote imagery/visualisation. Elaboration just doesnt seem right because the questioon specifically asks "Mnemonic Device".
Will VCAA accept both answers if this was on the real exam?
Trials for teachers = T4T for short :D

Do you have any psychology ones that you can post up? It would be greatly appreciated if you could.

Hmm well if the assessor's report didn't say it I dunno. They probably wouldn't have accepted it knowing how picky psych assessors are. But they might have. It does make sense. But for future reference use "elaboration" since mnemonic devices are based on 'elaborating' information to be learned..

I don't bother with exam conditions, I forego reading time and just work as fast as I can. only takes 55 minutes - 1 hour. and I try to write how I would in the exam, it's not really practice otherwise

mnemonics elaborate information, correct sillysmile

remember elaboration is a general term that involves linking new information with other information either new or already stored in LTM. mnemonics make use of information stored in LTM to 'elaborate' and enhance organisation of the new information

1. I don't really count them.
2. Do the MC like a pro and then lose interest in the SA. I'll just think of the answers and not write them, but still stress on the 'key terms' in my head and then just read over the model answers.

Totally ready/looking forward to the psych exam. It's my relaxing/de-stress exam. It's positively fun compared to the horror that awaits me in the form of the chemistry and methods and UMEP (ffuuu-) exams.

Haha so true. Psych and Media are the only two subjects I feel prepared for and I'd rather do 10 psych and media exams than 1 chem and methods one haha. Yet I'm still nervous for psych and media cos they'll definitely be in my top 4 so every bit counts :S
