Hey Logan, congrats on those amazing scores! Are you human? Having done Phys 1/2 as a filler last year, I definitely know where you're coming from haha; definitely think the 'mile wide and an inch deep' idea applies to Methods as well honestly. But oh well, not to be complaining when you're just (repeatedly?#?$@$?!$^&*&) snagging full marks : )

Nice, I'm a fan of Radiohead too. I take it that you like In Rainbows best? Absolutely slaps. :D

Hey thanks! Yeah it's definitely a bit annoying but at least it gives you a bit of variety I suppose.

Oh awesome! I'm just starting to get into them but absolutely loving it so far. Yeah I've settled on In Rainbows being my favorite :)

Did the 2020 VCAA exams, including both sections even though you are supposed to do one (matrices and geometry)
Exam 1: 98% (2 lost in data)
Exam 2: 91% (More evenly spread losses)

So currently looking at a raw 44. Good start I dare say...

Don't undervalue the importance of the break, it's absolutely an important part!
Sounds like you're in a pretty great position heading into the holidays :)

Update - 12/10/21
Less than three weeks till the further exam! Honestly pretty excited to get it over with.
I haven't been stressing out too badly over school if I'm being honest - I'm on a pretty good track for further.
At this point, I have done about 5 sets of VCAA practice exams, with the latest few averaging about one mark dropped per exam, so hopefully if I do in the range of 5-10 more exams, I can hope for a 50!! Very exciting!! One thing that surprised me was that the knowledge even from the start of the year came back fairly easily, and now the entire years content doesn't actually seem like it's that much. Another fun tidbit is that I got my results for the National Physics Olympiad, a High Distinction! Wow!
So yeah, very excited for things! Unfortunately though had a covid case at my school, and am a close contact ( :-[ ), awaiting test results today, and honestly if I can't attend the exam I would be pretty devastated. The GAT went pretty well for me I would say but it would be pretty disappointing to get a DES.
Cheers all and good luck with your studying!!
Logan

Olympiad update: offered a place at the physics summer school?!?! Apparently my test, where I didn't answer 2 entire sections, was in the top 30 in the COUNTRY across year 11/12????
Holy crap.
