Science Games [2019]

100% less violent and far more accessible than the Hunger Games, this year we'll be holding the science games.

Whether you've finished year 12 or are partway through your VCE journey, you're welcome to particpate. The only restriction is that science moderators cannot be competitors.

From January 7th to 31st (inclusive) you're invited to accumulate points & climb your way to the top by engaging with the science boards. There will also be a Kahoot at the end, which will contribute to your points tally

Want to know how you're ranked? Visit the leaderboard

How do I get points you might ask?
- Answering questions
biology q&a psychology q&a physics q&a chemistry q&a
- uploading notes/guides etc
- participating in a research methods thread
Vox's Scientific Logic Workshop  Psych Research Methods
- tackling challenging science questions
Bio Chem Physics Psych
- Converting content to exam-style questions and answers
Bio Chem Physics Psych
- Be part of Phoenixxfire's bio question chain
- Contribute to the physics misunderstandings discussion
- contribute to Insanipi's science news threads
chem  physics bio psych
- got an idea that isn't covered? Ask!

Note:
Asking questions doesn't earn points, but it does help you with your VCE :)
Points allocated based on usefulness, clarity and depth of explanations by mod discretion
no points awarded for spammy-ness (you can build on or clarify existing answers, but no points will be awarded if there's no new helpfulness)

In the meantime,  if you have any questions or comments feel free to discuss away!  Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and have a happy new year :)

Don't know about you guys, but I am hyped for the start of the AN games today!

Some threads are still being copied in, moved across etc but most are functional now

Points have already started to be awarded based on today's activity - stay tuned for reveal of the leaderboard later tonight :)

Sorry about the late response! If there's interest I'd be happy to run something similar over the summer break again :)
