this was from the 2010 scaling report

"Candidates are in the 2010 scaling population if they have obtained a VCAA’
study score in an English study [English, English (SL), English Language or Literature] plus at least three other VCAA’ study scores in
2009 and 2010, provided that at most one result is from 2009."

IS THIS TRUE? O.o
2010: Biology
2011: English, Mathematical methods, Further Mathematics, Accounting, Chemistry
Atar aim: Good enough
2012: Who knows?

It would mean people like EZ are not used to create the scaling for 2010 subjects, that is all, according to my interpretation.

Pretty sure that's bollocks.
The Finnish word pilkunnussija, which translates literally to “comma fucker,” is someone who risks his social wellbeing to annoyingly and persistently point out punctuation errors.

This. It still counts toward your ATAR, but you're not used for statistical reasons. I also had two 2009 subjects in my top 4.
2009- National Politics (43) Methods (38)
2010- Economics (50) English (44) Literature (38) Introductory Microeconomcis (86) Introductory Macroeconomics (75)
ATAR:98.95

Okay I've managed to interpret this properly. It's saying that to have completed VCE, you must have done at least 4 3/4 subjects, and 3 of them must have been in the year you completed VCE.

So you could have done 3 subjects in year 11, and 3 in year 12 and all 6 would count. However if you did 3 in year 11 and only 2 in year 12, then you haven't completed your VCE
Religion and Society (38), IT - Software Development (45) English (35), Chemistry (49), Methods CAS (48), Specialist Maths (50)
ENTER: 99.15

2010 - Bachelor of Science(Maths)/Engineering(Chemical) - Monash Clayton

That isn't true ^
VCE can be completed part time, it doesn't matter how many subjects you do in the year you complete it. I'm only doing two subjects next year and I will be completing my VCE. All the report means is that people's scores from previous years won't mess up the scaling for this year. The results will be counted, the people just won't be in the scaling population.
